Have A Barbie Christmas

Hello everyone,

Feather here once more! Wishing you all a Happy Christmas! Now I know you are all wondering, what’s with Barbie? Well here’s my reason. I watch Barbie movies at Christmas time. So how did I get to this tradition? Simple…

We have Barbie in the Nutcracker on DVD

So you could say I started young. The movie was made in 2001, back when 3D animation was still in the works. It’s old, yes, the graphics are terrible, but the music and the storyline are the best! Basically, The Nutcracker is what makes my Christmas. I’ve loved The Nutcracker since before I can remember. After I finish watching the Barbie movies I’ll be watching the DVD of the ballet!

It’s my tradition

Ever since before I can remember, I’ve watched Barbie in the Nutcracker and Barbie as Rapunzel every Christmas, and because I sort of have an OCD about finishing series and whatnots, I have to watch every Barbie movie I can. So now every Christmas, I watch every Barbie movie!

Christmas is the time to be corny!

I know some of you may not be a Christmas person, but hey! Respect those who are. We love to be corny…it gives us that warm feeling of being at home in front of the fire! Why? Because it’s comfortable, it makes Christmas special, just like Easter Eggs make Easter special, or a birthday cake for your Birthday! Christmas has the warmth of Christmas trees, fireplaces and specially wrapped presents!

Sometimes you just need the reminder that being kind and good are all that matters

Alright so Barbie is made for little girls, but the lessons they teach in her films are still rather true. Sometimes, bravery doesn’t rely on your wit, your strength, or your determination for justice. Sometimes bravery simply relies on your ability to be kind and compassionate, even to those who hurt you. We all forget this at least once in our lives, and for me, the Barbie movies always remind me that sometimes all you really need to do is be kind.

So now you know! One of my most treasured Christmas traditions is watching Barbie movies. What’s yours? Don’t worry, you won’t be judged, I mean come on…I watch Barbie movies, you can’t get more embarrassing than that! Remember you’re never too old to do the things you did as a kid. Actually, it’s better that you do! If you keep in touch with your inner child every now and then, your world would be a much more colourful place!

That’s it for now!

So what do you think? Let me know in the comments below and I’ll see you all soon!
