The Newest Update

Hello Everyone!

Happy New Year! It’s been a while since I last spoke to you like this…well, I did go on holiday, and there are a few posts about it (but they don’t count). Today, I have some really exciting news. This year I have a couple of projects in the pipeline, and hopefully they can take fruit this year. So, what do I have in store? Here are just a few of them…

New Year, New Looks, New Us

You’re all probably aware that I’ll be changing the layout and appearance of this space, and I will, but it’ll take a little bit of time, considering I’m still working part-time at the store, I’ve got a couple of other projects I need to finish, and I need to speak to a few people to get ideas and working designs up and running. So, you can finally rejoice. This old look is going to go! I’m also looking forward to changing up the style and layout of this blog, because to be honest, it’s too…amateurish for me. I’m sure it seems a bit amateur to you too, so don’t worry, once the plans are set and actioned, you won’t have to stare at the yellow screen anymore.

Promotions and Shared Responsibilities

Many of you might know who SBK is. If you don’t check out the posts he’s written, for us, in the links below.

Bioshock and Addiction
Stories vs. Multiplayers
The Childhood Comeback
The Christmas Gaming List

SBK (or Sugar Daddy) is a personality on YouTube. He stars in a new Q&A style channel, called Chat Sh*t Randomly and he has his own gaming channel on Twitch. He is a close friend of mine, and has been writing guest posts for the last couple of months. Recently, he’s been promoted to cover a section of my blog! If you haven’t already guessed, he’ll be taking over the gaming section, considering I pay little heed to it. It’s the perfect spot for him, and not to mention, it takes a little stress off me. So, if you’re into the whole gaming world, check him out! I’m sure he’s got a ton of games you could be inspired to play!

Crafty Dreams

Ok, so I’m known to complain about my work and my workload (if you’re one of those people who know me personally), and to be honest I have been getting tired of working in a shop nearly every day, but that isn’t to say it’s because I don’t like working in a shop. On the contrary, I do love working in one, it’s a small space, but at least I’m never bored, and I can always get a discount on the merchandise. However, I think it’s safe to say that I’d rather be working for myself.

So, that’s why, sometime this year, or perhaps next year, I’ll be setting up a small “shop” section here on this blog. I’m not going to be selling any branded products on here, just some good old fashioned craft items I’ve been making over the year, such as the Flower Pot Bag (check it out if you haven’t already), a couple of scarves, a couple of hats and perhaps even some Christmas decorations (since it’ll open around that time). So, keep your eyes peeled for any new and unexpected crochet patterns coming up on the Crafts space, because I may just add that to the shop collection!

Well, there you have it, those are my new year’s resolutions, and like everyone else hoping their new diets last the year, I hope mine do too! Not to mention I’ve taken up Pilates again so I might have a couple of handy tips for you guys (like…say…if you want to…check out Blogilates and her uber useful channel!). So, stay tuned! I’m sure you’ll find a couple of interesting things coming up this year.  That’s it for now! Don’t forget to subscribe and like this blog if you’d like to see more content. See you soon!
