Feather’s Games: Dream PC Build – All Of The Lights!

Hello everyone, it’s Sugar Daddy here.

Today, I would like to talk about PCs, but most importantly my dream build. I like to call this OMEGA RAINBOW BEAST aka O.R.B. This is mostly for heavy gaming, and video content development, such as making short films and streaming 4K games. Now, this build will definitively cost around £4000, not including monitors and keyboards and mice. This is just the Body and the core build. So let’s get started.

ASUS LGA 1151 MAXIMUS IX MOTORBOARD

This motherboard is so beautiful to look at, with 3 RGB lighting location, this will help you stand out. It has an aggressive look to match. For more than a decade, Republic of Gamers has always delivered great design and performance, and with its new and innovative water cooling zone, it allows the motherboard to stay cool, especially for heavy game sessions. For me, it has Aura lighting control, and that’s perfect, because it allows me to customise my Led lights, so more disco lights for all!

Intel Core I7-7700K 4.2GHz 8MB Cache Processor

This is one of the most powerful processors out there. It allows you to kick up your performance even higher, with Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0, to bump the max turbo frequency, to an amazing 4.5GHz. Add Intel Hyper Technology to an 8-way multitasking and this processor delivers the best performance yet! If this is not enough, enthusiasts can unlock and tweak the performance to its fullest potential.

I’d use not one, but two of these RGB monsters! The reason? Not only does it have LED lights, but the 1080Ti is powerful and can easily play in ultra settings. Plus you can save some money, to buy your keyboard and mouse! Anyway, it includes all-new MaxContact Technology, with 2x more contact with GPU, for improved thermal transfer, and Patented Wing-Blade IP5X-Certified Fans, for maximum airflow and longer fan lifespan. The ASUS Fan Connect II features 4-pin, hybrid-controlled headers, connected to system fans for even better system cooling. The ASUS “Aura Sync RGB LED synchronisation enables a gaming system personalisation”. This means I can continue with the theme of the rainbow and light-up my room better than most clubs! It’s also VR-friendly, with HDMI ports, allowing gamers to easily enjoy immersive virtual reality experiences.

G.SKILL 64GB (16GBX4) Trident Z RGB series DDR4 3600 MHz

Like I said this is an RGB build, and although there are other options, like the corsair vengeance, nothing compares to Trident Z/ They not only look beautiful, but they stand out even more. Plus with 64Gb, it is going to be fast, and take up more space, meaning more Lights. So what can this DDR4 3600Ram do? Well, its memory is nothing really special, to say the least, but it features a complete row of LEDs, brilliantly displayed through an uncovered full-length light bar. The Trident Z RGB Series is also capable of displaying a wide range of vivid colours. G.Skill also said:

“Along with the strong foundation of G. SKILL overclocking memory development technology”

I am not too sure what that means but if you want a little more power, you can overclock it…at least that’s what I think they’re saying. In the end, they believe it’s for building an extremely stylish performance PC. So that’s my choice for RAM.

This part of the build will be a lot quicker, due to them sadly not having RGB lighting, however you are able to buy more Corsair RGB fans to replace the stock fans on the Hydro Series H1001. Of course, please be careful not to damage the product, and perhaps have someone with experience to help you change them.

The Hydro Series H100i v2 is created for extreme performance, an all-in-one liquid CPU cooler for cases with 240 mm radiator mounts. The 240 mm radiator and dual SP120L PWM fans provide the excellent heat dissipation you need for highly overclocked CPUs. Corsair Link is also built in, so you can monitor temperatures, adjust cooling performance and customize LED lighting directly from your desktop. That so nice of them to do that for me.

Seagate BarraCuda 2TB AND Samsung 850 EVO 1TB SSD

It has memory! One it’s used to boost up the system, and install your operating system. And two, it can be used to save your files, but sadly no RGB, so moving on.

Corsair CP-9020093-UK 850 W 80 Plus Gold Certified Modular 135 mm Thermally Controlled Fan Power Supply Unit – Black

Aka the power source. This is what boosts up your PC, I could have chosen the 1000w, but you honestly don’t need it, this will do its job, and support the whole build. Also, it has no RGB lights so what else can I say? Well, it has a plus Gold Certified: high-efficiency operation, and it’s all 100percent Japanese, whatever that means.

InWin 805 Infinity RGB Case with Infinity Mirror and Tempered Glass

Now for the case, we need something that shows off our build, while looking powerful, and it needs RGB. So, 805 Infinity was the clear winner, just because of its mirror and tempered glass look. It’ll reflect the RGB lights, to make some powerful looking themes, so with this I will be able to get some good looking light designs. Alternatively, I would also love the open air Chassis frame, by the same company InWin.

Overall I want lights, something that you can have on your desk that looks appealing during the day. Then, during the late night games session, a disco/club party machine, which so happens to be able to play 4k games with ease. As for the mouse and keyboard, I would go for either Logitech or Corsair, something with LED lights and customisation capabilities, so I don’t really mind. Oh, and for the monitor, 27inch or more, perhaps a Dell or LG.

So tell me what is your dream PC build, leave a like and subscribe for weekly gaming posts.
