Feather’s Kitchen: A World Of Baking Part III

Hello Everyone!

This is the last “episode” of my baking adventures, at least for now. As I mentioned before, I had to bake a couple of desserts for a bake sale that I needed to manage, recently. The last dessert I’d like to share with you was one that I, unfortunately, couldn’t showcase at the bake sale, but it’s a great snack or dessert, for the kids or for when your sweet tooth is craving for more.

The name of the last dessert is…

The Chocolate Quesadilla

It’s a straightforward recipe, but because I had made the alfajores, the cookies and the taquitos, I couldn’t actually include these delicious slices into the sale, but it was one of the first recipes I tried, for it.

Lunchtime Snacks

So, I’m definitely going to be making these for lunch now, because they’re that easy and simple. I’m used to frying up my breakfast, since I have waffles, pancakes and some other “healthy” variations of these pancakes, so when I made the quesadilla it was a no-brainer, at least for me.

If you are new to the baking and cooking scene…I think I’m talking to university students here…and your sweet tooth is demanding justice, I highly recommend this recipe to you. It doesn’t need too many ingredients, and it only requires your hob and a frying pan.

Let’s Get On With It

So, just like the other two, here’s the recipe for the Quesadilla.

The Chocolate Quesadilla

The ingredients you’ll need are:

Flour Tortilla (as many as you want)

Peanut Butter Spread

Chocolate Spread (Nutella is ideal)

Chopped Fruits (your choice)

Butter (to use for frying)

Powdered Sugar (if you want to add that little extra touch)

The Tools:

A Frying Pan

Your Hob

Recipe Time

You know the drill. It would be plagiarism if I wrote out the recipe here, so click the link below if you want to know how to make these slices yourself.

What Do I Think?

First of all, the recipe is dead easy, you just need to fry your concoction. Second, it reminded me of so many recipes I’ve found on the internet that I use for my breakfasts (thank you Blogilates!). As for the taste; if you’re a peanut butter and jelly fan, just think of the possibilities of a peanut butter and chocolate spread combination.

This is seriously a great snack/dessert for lunch, if you’re not having something that’s too heavy. I suggest pairing the quesadilla with a sandwich or a salad. You’re not going to be too full, from your main course, and this dessert will fill you up the rest of the way.

So, for those frying, baking and cooking amateurs, try this recipe out, it’s a great beginner recipe, especially if you’re in a hurry. You could easily make up the tortilla, and leave it in the fridge or somewhere cool and dry, so that all you have to do is fry it the next morning.

Well, that’s it from me today, I’ll see you soon! I’m sure Sugar Daddy has something interesting for you to read, just check out his posts at Feather’s Games!
