Feather here, off on another adventure! This time we’re in Berlin, and we’re not alone…The entire Charm clan is coming along!
Yes this is going to be one hectic adventure, thanks to the company…So what’s going on right now? Well I’m currently laughing with my cousins over the antics of my sister and cousin…you’ll see when I upload the pictures.
Alright so now I’m on the plane, writing in my Filofax while my sister is exchanging pictures with my cousins behind me. You see I was unintentionally put in a row all by myself and I’m sitting next to two strangers (at least it’s practice when I finally travel by myself…or to make my parents happy with my own husband/boyfriend).
To be honest I am rather excited because this is first holiday the entire family has been on together…it’s going to be a wild ride and I can’t actually wait for it. Well it’s time for me to fasten my seatbelt and strap myself in for the journey to the Germany! See you on the other side.
Allo! We’re in Berlin! Yes, we landed safely, with much written, many jokes laughed at, many pictures taken, and many antics made fun of…speaking of which, as seasoned travellers, my family (i.e. My mom, dad, sister and I) were waiting for the rest of us to claim their checked in baggage, and my sister thought it would be a good idea to pose a a chauffeur and held up a hand written sign with our last names written on it! To say the least their reactions were rather funny and well…I got it on video…although it won’t be up until we get back to London.
Now what has happened today? Well, when we went to check in to the hotel, my cousins, aunts and grandpa’s rooms weren’t actually ready so they had to wait an hour before they could properly check in…however, my family’s room was and we managed to get to it without a hitch! So because we got our room, everyone thought it would be a good idea to keep their luggage in it! And because people wanted to go exploring we went out for a walk. As we were walking around, we found an old synagogue that was built around the time of the Kristallnacht. We didn’t go in, since it was a Sunday and most likely closed, and to be honest we weren’t up for touring a museum since we did just jump off a plane…
Anyway we walked a little more and found a really nice, modern bar/restaurant and had lunch, and took lots, and lots, and lots of pictures!
After that the rest of the family finally got their rooms and once we unpacked we all went to the Christmas market in GendarmentMarket. It was PACKED! I guess it’s because it was a Sunday and everyone as out in full force, but nevertheless we enjoyed it and got a few souvenirs along the way!
Anyway, so now we’re resting before we have dinner, it is very much needed…I think I hear my dad snoring…I better go and wake him…
This is Feather, signing out!
